The Motor City FC (MCFC) has been chosen to compete in the 2019 Milk Cup sponsored by the United Dairy Industry of Michigan.

The Stars will join 11 other semi-pro and amateur soccer clubs from all over Michigan who will compete in a single elimination bracket for a $7,500 grand prize.

The competing teams include The Michigan Stars FC, Flint City Bucks, AFC Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids Football Club, Kalamazoo FC, Livonia City FC, Force FC, BIH GR, St, Clair, AAFC Lumberjacks, Oakland County Football Club and Bafana United.

Four teams earned a first-round bye based on Results from the previous season, previous participation (and/or results) from the Milk Cup and the ability to host a quarterfinals match.

The remaining 8 teams were put into a random draw to determine matchups and hosts.

The same random draw process will be followed for the semifinals and finals (all random drawings to be executed by United Dairy Industry of Michigan).

The Stars will host Livonia FC in the first round. The match will be played on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 7:00 PM at Ultimate Soccer Arenas, 867 S Blvd E, Pontiac, MI 48341.

Tickets will be $7.00 for adults (15 and under) and $3.00 for youth. Children 5 and under are free. Tciets are available at www.michiganstarsfc.com or at the gate.
