David Smith

Head Athletic Trainer

David Smith joined the Michigan Stars Pro Team in August 2023 as the Head Athletic Trainer.

David is currently also assisting the Olympic Development Program (ODP); as well as working for the city of Detroit as an EMT. David previously worked with Oakland University Club Hockey, University of Michigan Rugby Club, Michigan Jaguars Soccer Club, Nationals Soccer Club - Oakland County, Wolves Soccer Club, and Lake Orion High School.

David received his Master's of science in Exercise Rehabilitation from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in December 2022, as well as receiving his Bachelor's of Science in Athletic Training from Alma College in May 2018.
