Dr. Steve Leonowicz

Team Doctor

Dr. Steve Leonowicz joined the Michigan Stars pro team as team physician in March 2024.

Dr. Leonowicz is a board-certified family medicine doctor currently accepting new patients at Alliance Health Washington. He grew up locally in Washington Township and is thrilled to be able to serve the community he grew up in. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital where he served as chief resident in his last year.

He is passionate about listening to his patients and working with them to develop a treatment plan. He looks forward to caring for all ages including the pediatric, adult, and elderly populations. His special interests include Sports medicine, Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, Obesity medicine and Geriatrics. In his spare time he loves exploring national parks, hiking, and running. He played high school soccer locally at Stoney Creek High School and is excited to return to the game of soccer as team physician for the Michigan Stars.
