Week 5 Recap: Capo FC Notches First Win In Arizona

GLENDALE, AZ (April 24, 2023) - Capo FC is on the board.

The 2022 NISA Nation Southwest Region champion is back and got its first three points of the new campaign with 4-1 win over SC Union Maricopa at Glendale Community College on Saturday, April 22.

Capo FC (1-0-1 overall) was one of only two NISA Nation members to qualify for Round 1 of the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

Temecula FC (4-0-0) got its fourth consecutive shutout to start the season with a 4-0 win over Toros Neza USA, while Olympiacos CA (1-0-4) earned its first victory with a 3-2 result over PAOK FC Tijuana.

Current table leaders on goal differential, FC Golden State (4-0-0) shut out Lobos FC 2-0 to stay top. FCGS has scored a league-leading 17 goals and owns a +15 goal differential.
