Week 10 Recap: Max Gonda Goes Off in JASA RWC Win

MODESTO, CA (November 5, 2023) - Max Gonda had been on the verge of breaking out all season.

The top goal getter in NISA Nation heading into the final weeks, Gonda scored three times then added another on a penalty kick in a 8-0 victory over Modesto City FC at Central Catholic High School on Sunday, Nov. 5.

Currently tied for second place in the Pacific Region, JASA RWC (5-1-3 overall) remains six points back of Battleborn FC.

On Saturday, Eysa Rawea scored two goals as Bay Area United FC ran away with a 6-0 victory over Ocelot Stockton TLJ FC at Cougar Field at Albany, CA, Middle School.

Pablo Caparello broke a 3-3 draw with a goal early in the second half and Temecula FC held on for 4-3 victory over Capo FC at Patricia H. Birdsall Sports Park in Temecula, CA.

Alejandro Cunemo Pena had a brace as Matias Almeyda FC beat AC Houston Sur 4-1 at the Matias Almeyda Training Academy in Houston, TX.

Francis Avoce scored two goals as FCGS Force beat Desert FC 4-1 at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, CA, and Justin Wright netted a hat trick as Lions United FC beat Ocelot L.A. FC 5-1 at Glendale, CA, Sports Complex.
