Week 11 Recap: Luquez & Valle Wear Matching Hats for Temecula FC

IRVINE, CA (November 13, 2023) - Amfed Luquez and Diego Valle are looking good in their new hats.

Luquez and Valley scored matching hat tricks as Temecula FC were sharp in an 11-0 victory over Olympiacos CA at Orange County Great Park on Saturday, Nov. 11.

Manuel Talavera also scored three goals in the win, which boosted Temecula FC (7-2-0 overall) into first place in the Southwest Region, two points ahead of Capo FC (7-0-3) and FCGS Force (7-0-2) with one more match remaining on the Fall Season.

On Saturday, Bay Area United FC jumped into the thick of the race in the Pacific Region with a 3-2 victory over at Windmill City FC at Cougar Field at Albany, CA, Middle School.

Irving Gonzalez scored a brace as Ocelot IE FC beat Desert FC 2-1 at Hovely Soccer Park in Palm Desert, CA, Preston Onyenacho and Justin Wright scored in the second half as Lions United FC beat FCGS Force 4-2 at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, CA, and Capo FC earned a narrow 2-0 victory over Las Vegas Legas FC at Faith Lutheran High School in Las Vegas.

On Sunday, Ocelot Stockton TLJ FC and Battleborn FC played to a scoreless draw at Edison High School in Stockton, CA, while Bay Area United FC beat Modesto City FC 7-0 at Central Catholic High School in Modesto, CA, to climb within a point of the top of the table in the Pacific Region.

Evan Snodgrass scored two late goals as JASA RWC put away Windmill City FC 6-2 at Bechet Field at Red Morton Park in Redwood City, CA.
